Linlithgow Loch

2nd Saturday Strollers group walk earlier today; and we were over in West Lothian for an 8.5mile mini-expedition, which took us along the Union Canal, the River Avon, and then around Linlithgow Loch.

Not the driest of days, but the 20 intrepid human-Strollers (plus one dog!) still had a thoroughly enjoyable day - the snap here shows Linlithgow Palace (in the distance) as taken from the far side of the Loch, all as we approached the end of the day's route ...

... tragically, many of us ended up drying-out (well, sort of!) in the Four Mary's Pub, which was *far too* hospitable; and led to a much-delayed arrival back in Edinburgh ;-)
