Trying out Glenys' new Daguerreotype Achromat lens

I'm sold - I want one.  I was actually thinking I didn't need one until today (well at least not immediately).  The light at Wentworth Castle Gardens was flat all of the time we were there.  I think the lens needs a bit more sun to bring out the sparkle.  We were there with friends, who I think had a lovely time despite all the talk about photography.  They highlight being the parkland deer, which I didn't attempt to shoot with that lens.
