Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption

Before I ever step foot in San Francisco, I was a fan of The Decemberists' music. One of their early songs, "Grace Cathedral Hill", takes place in San Francisco. When I visited San Francisco in 2006 (four years before I moved here), I discovered that Grace Cathedral Hill doesn't exist. Grace Cathedral is on Nob Hill. There is, however, a Cathedral Hill in San Francisco, and that is where you'll find the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption.
