Preparing To Present

Over the last few weeks, there has been a feeling of returning to a more normal life in 2022. Plans are being made and programmes of events are being drawn up.

Emails bring invitations to speak to various groups and clubs. Can we dare to hope that the virus will be overcome?

I have a range of subjects that I can present, but something new is worthy of researching.  My own Probus Club has sat through most of my offerings and they have been well received.

However, for 2022, I will present the history of "The Hindenburg". Other airships may be included. Of course research is required as are illustrations. Hence today’s Blipfoto of one of my bookshelves.

The red untitled volume is a Huckleberry Hound Annual! Don’t ask why.

Next to it the Practical Motorist Annual of 1967. It must have been a gift. Motoring maintenance in 1967 is a dawdle with a fairly small selection of tools.

Of course, all of these talks are updated and refreshed as presentation software improves. I use Apple Keynote.

Anyway time to consider The Hindenburg and the R101. The book for the R101 is in the TV room.
