Chetopa Hotel
Chetopa, Kansas, also, known as the pecan capital of Kansas, founded in 1857 and named after Chief Chetopa. It was originally an Osage Nation Village. Just a few miles to the south a traveler of that time would cross into Indian Territories, later known as Oklahoma.
Driving down Main street was the old hotel which didn't look very busy. Of course, I had to stop and get a photo. The town really should consider turning this into a museum as I would think people would be interested in seeing it restored.
