Abstract sunrise

Fiery red sky briefly this morning (so brief that by the time I got the camera and the right setting it was about done so a wrong setting one is what you have) and then rain and drizzle for most of the day.
I spent the morning making soup for a community event and this afternoon did some housework, knitting and sewing. I did get out to pick some veg for tea so we had homegrown brocoli and cauliflowers - the caulis were minute, 2 were scarcely a portion, but weren't to be wasted!
I've just been getting stuff ready for a run tomorrow, hard to decide what's needed as it looks as if it'll be warm (for October), wet and a bit breezy so I hope I've chosen right.
