Daddy's girl.

My dad is the best! He bought these for Easter pressies :) he knows me so well... Not like my mum. It hurts so much to know how she feels about me and my choices. I'm trying desperately to make something of my life and she's just pushing me back the whole time. Do you know how much it would mean to me for her to say 'Go for it, Han. You can do it.' (and actually mean it of course)?
I'm being quite nasty at the moment and, I'll admit, a lot of it is intentional. She doesn't get to make me feel like this then go and act as normal.
I'm really hurt.
The thing is I really don't think she even realises what it actually is that upsets me. She misses the point no matter how I phrase it. I hope one day she'll get it but maybe she never will. I only have to prove myself to me, as much as I'd love to show her, I don't think she'll ever really see me. It just hurts.
