Bay

We have a Bay tree on the patio and it seems to be doing well. Today we noticed what looked like berries. At first we thought they looked like flowers buds, but that of course is not possible. Now we assume they are berries - will they turn black? Should we dry some leaves or is that a bit pointless as it remains in leaf all the year. A few questions for you plant people. 

A nice day today with quite a bit of sunshine. It was good to be able to sit outside . . . and get washing dried.
