Geese landing

It has sunny and very warm, especially for this time of year. On our walk this morning, Stanley and I found ourselves in the flight path of a large flock of geese landing on the small reservoir. They made quite a loud noise as they hit the water. They also disturbed the gulls so they vacated the reservoir.
The rest of the morning was taken up with buying the fish from a local market, cleaning up after the decorators and beginning to put things back in their place and taking Stanley to be groomed. He now looks very smart.
The outdoor market has been moved indoors for the winter, which feels much less Covid safe to me. Fortunately the fish van can't go indoors so remains outdoors.
This afternoon we had an appointment with a BT Technical Expert to set up some new equipment. Despite numerous texts and emails to confirm he would be coming and what he would do, he has not arrived. Perhaps not an expert in punctuality or telling the time, but there has been silence from BT to date. I think I will now set it up myself.
