Aira Beck (and Blackpool illuminations)

LARGE on BLACK (of course)

The rain of the past few days has finally stopped, and we woke to a lovely day (typical, as Deb had a Consultants appointment in Lancashire in the afternoon).

We made the most of the morning with a walk along Aira Beck, which was well stocked with water. The second extra shows High Force, with a hint of a rainbow just above the fall, and water thundering over the edge. After Deb's appointment, we carried on to Blackpool, (as tomorrow we're back at her Mum's house) and after dinner at our hotel, we walked down the front and looked at the Blackpool illuminations. It's the first time I've ever seen them, and although they don't quite compete with Vegas, it was great fun seeing them.
