Still Hard at Work

Along with the Asters, this Golden Rod is still blooming.  I planted it a couple of years ago because the bees love it and it blooms so late.  The wasps love it too and they are happy to share.  We are having some lovely autumn weather now and Jay, my carpenter, will be finishing up his work today and David, my painter, will be finishing the painting as well.  After 25 years steps needed replacing and new trim needed painting.  It will be good to have it all done.
