Birthday girl

A quieter night then a few hours sleep. I had a busy few hours getting ready to go away for a few days. We left at 4pm to drive to Lochgilphead which of course meant we hit the rush hour and road works on the M8. Stopped in Balloch before resuming the journey by now in horrible weather. Had to use the old military road at the Rest and Be Thankful, waiting 20 minutes before following the convoy vehicle in our direction. 
It had been our daughter's birthday on Monday and my husband had bought this huge pink hoodie/blanket which she loved! Looking forward to spending the weekend together.
