Museum day
Today we were invited to visit the Cambrai Museum. Cambrai is a very tiny country town north east of Adelaide, in the wheat growing area of the state. The museum director had some wonderful old items of clothing to donate to our Old Government House museum, namely some late Victorian clothing. We were amazed at the range and diversity of items in the museum, from personal family histories and photos to early farm machinery. It was a hidden treasure.
On the way home we visited a second hand book shop and left with 5 more books for the home collection. It has been a very good day.
