The Pentland Hills

What a day!!!

We started our walk at Harlaw Farm, and walked past the Ranger Centre and up towards the Glencorse Reservoir, turning left up the hill just before the water toward Bonaly, over the bealach and down towards Torduff Reservoir, past Clubbiedean Reservoir and down the Poets Glen to Currie. We did eight miles, most of it on snow and ice; we were so lucky with the weather as it was cold with snow flurries, but we also had some sunshine which made it quite magical. We had some great views of the Pentlands.

Home for a very quick snack and then off to the last night of country dancing at Strathaven......we had wine and a buffet as well as great dancing, but my legs have now given out, so it's blip and bed!!!!
