Relocated

I was dismayed when the Christmas Cactus began to flower in such an inconvenient position as I understood that moving the plant would cause the buds to fall off.
With nothing to lose I experimented: every couple of days I shifted the pot an inch or so back, gradually getting nearer to the window, maintaining the orientation to the light. Nothing untoward happened and so I have lifted the pot onto the windowsill and it appears to have tolerated the move!
