More from the photographic archives. This shot was taken by my Grandfather while on holiday in Austria sometime in the 1950s and hasn't seen the light of day for several decades. Although the slide had no information about where it was taken, a 5 minutes session with image recognition technology and online maps easily found the location. So, this is a view from the centre of Vienna, looking towards Kärntner Straße and the spire of St.Stephen's Cathedral. The 35mm slide was copied with a D850 + macro lens using the tethered capture facility in Lightroom.
