Foolish optimism

Not a great day. Saw an older lady driving a car like my mum owned on the way to work which made me sad and then spoke about Roo and her declining health which didn't brighten my mood.

I lacked enthusiasm for the jobs on my list and any ability to focus or concentrate. I ended the work day with things I need to get back to and I'd hoped to take the day off tomorrow too.

I did motivate myself to run before work though and was given a chocolate advent calendar (although that is slightly cruel given that it is October)

Roo should know that I don't share food. Especially not pickled onion monster munch.
