The repair people came and went. Apparently my broken cooker hood won the with the highest record of air being sucked in. Not sure what that is in English... And, apparently I was one of the few that were prepared for the repair people to come, despite having information about it in the letter box... They were pleasantly surprised when I knew they were coming and why. 
I've been so tired today and my body is telling me to get some more rest, and so I will. :) Lit scented candle this evening, to relax a bit more.
