Into Hexham for a food shop and visit the two charity bookshops. Sadly staff in bookshops and Waitrose not wearing masks, cafe Nero however were. Back home for the boiler service and then out for a walk.
Text from the sweep to ask us to do the payment for yesterday, and then apology when we reminded him we gave him a cheque, he said its old age. When the boiler service guy turned up he said he arrived at 11 to an empty house and a barking dog only to realise he should be thirty miles away at 11 and here at 1, he said it’s an age thing. We walked up the hill and saw these lovely boys in the field, hubby said they look a bit like … but couldn’t think of the name, he said it’s an age thing and we both started laughing.
Another lovely day, and quite warm.
