Beaming
We had a lazy morning after yesterday’s long walk northwards up the Fife coast, but this afternoon we were ready for a rather shorter stroll southwards to Dysart which has another beautiful harbour with a great-looking café in the former harbourmaster’s building. Sadly, the café was closed by the time we arrived, but I strongly suspect that we’ll return tomorrow for a spot of luncheon!
Apparently the harbour and harbourmaster’s house were used as stand-ins for Le Harve in the TV series ‘Outlander’… which I can’t claim to have seen.
Today’s Blip is of a public artwork, ‘Sea Beams’ by Donald Urquhart, which stands right next to the harbour, and which I managed to capture just as the light was beginning to fade. Happily there were still a few light beams falling on the sea beams.
Unrelated to any of the above, but still proudly Scottish, here’s the wonderful Karine Polwart (ably accompanied by Inge Thomson) with her cover of ‘Dignity’ by Deacon Blue https://youtube.com/watch?v=XZCPpI9sACA
Better than the original? I reckon so!
