Dorothy Wordsworth

Dorothy was born in Cockermouth on Christmas day in 1771. We want to do a bit to celebrate  but have been short of a suitable portrait of her. Fortunately local photographer Trevor Earthy has managed to find this one in his archive!
(I now understand that today is national poetry day so this is an especially suitable subject.  "She gave me eyes, she gave me ears" W.W. in The Sparrow's nest" referring to Dorothy.)
