Les vendanges

Just caught the end of the harvest -- this merry team will have finished by tomorrow.

The village walking group has started again, which is good news. Five of us did an easy circular walk to the lake and back. Much better than last Friday's slow-motion gabfest. Yes, we chin-wagged as well, but it was exciting village gossip, and that makes all the difference. We got told off for distracting the pickers with idle chat. Ingrid is back for the first time in a year, so afterwards G and I went to hers for tea and more chat.

A lovely day as you can see, although it was rather breezy.
