lenses, for real cameras which used film, are - my mate S. believes - the equivalent of vinyl compared to CD. He and I have been talking photography since we heated up a water bath for developing Ektrachrome slides in the early 80s. Actually, there were some days when we needed an ice bath, as we were in Cyprus and the darkroom got a bit warm in summer. 38 deg C could be below ambient. 

I should dig out my adaptor and play with this beauty on my Lumix GX-8.
