A small selection of fungi

One thing I have learned today ...... you should never go hunting for fungi wearing clean trousers ..... too much kneeling on rather damp ground.

I did find quite a number of different fungus but decided to choose four which I hope I have been able to identify .....

Sulphur Tuft ...... moderate to severely poisonous
Rosy Bonnet ..... mildly poisonous
Shaggy Scalycap ..... moderately poisonous
Scarlet Elfcap ..... not poisonous but inedible


Off to Fife tomorrow for a few nights. Hoping for some reasonable weather so that we can get the garden tidied up as well as enjoying some walking and cycling.
