What you see when you haven't got your camera...
The forecast was good so we decided we should go and do our Winter Thrush Survey, as there was at least 8km of walking to do i decided not to take my DSLR and just stuck my little compact in my pocket and my husband took his trusty bridge camera.
So it was inevitable that we would see something good. We spotted a female otter with two young ones feeding near the rocky shoreline, we were able to sit for half an hour watching them. The longest i've watched these amazing creatures for. I borrowed Iain's camera and slowly made my way down the slope and got a few shots, i couldn't not share this one on blip as it was my highlight of the week (year i think!).
