Beauty in Miniature…

This lovely shrub is Spirea Pink Ice. The leaves are variegated and with pink tinges.
It was given to me by a lovely friend, Cilla. I love the detail in the tiny individual flowers. We had rain over night and early this morning. I felt very tired so decided to stay in bed longer. So Maisie and I missed our usual 6.am walk. Later in the morning I took a folder of financial papers to the Council and arranged to get a rates rebate. I had a nice catch-up with the staff person responsible for organizing rebates. It was a job well done.
