Joe's Blips

The Rail

Not a hundred metres from this spot, at 6am a car drove straight through the retaining barrier and into the sea. A woman passenger was rescued. A man's body was found later in the day about 5km away, washed up on a beach.

All of which has absolutely nothing to do with this blip. This was an experimental shot done on my way home from the office using an Olympus E500 four thirds DSLR fitted with an old Olympus Zuiko 35-70mm zoom lens. The adaptor to couple the old technology with the new came from SRB Griturn from whom I have purchased several nice goodies and all of which have been of superb quality. Autofocus of course doesn't work as the Zuiko lens didn't have it in the first place but otherwise it works a treat.

Oh, and the builders have gone leaving us with a fine quality job and they even cleaned up everything after themselves. Miracles do happen after all.
