Bus Pass Walk/Outing
With the prospect of inclement weather the Bus Pass Walkers caught 2 buses to Leeds to do “culture” at Leeds Art Gallery. The first stop was at the amazing tiled cafe - tiles on floor, walls and ceiling - stunning. We then looked round the building with its beautiful architecture, stained glass doors and windows, lovely stonework, and tiling everywhere - amazing. After another coffee we emerged to very blustery weather and crossed the road for a quick look at Leeds Town Hall with its colourful interior and ceilings. A short walk took us back to the bus station and two buses home via a different route. Quite chilly by now, but a great day out. Venison steaks for tea cooked by “Mr Masterchef” son as he thought I would ruin them!! They were very good.
