A friend called to ask Daveen if she could collect her two girls from school, so I went along too just for the walk. We played in the park with the youngest for a while till the eldest came out a bit later.
David stayed home to prepare for the dinner he is cooking tonight for two of Daveen and Mike’s best friends here and the new Priest of their town.
The picture is of David preparing the Gnocchi - each individual little piece shaped by hand, requiring a lot of love and patience. We had a special Caprese Salad for appetizer and a Baked Pineapple and Raspberry Dessert.

This was a significant time for the start of reconciliation and relationship building between these people.
Daveen and Mike sometimes wonder what they are supposed to be doing here and a day like today is clear evidence of what they are already doing!
