Hanbury Hall

Lovely visit to Hanbury Hall with granddaughters. We were there for 4 hours and they really enjoyed it. We always have to have an early lunch - managed to last until 11.45, even with a mid morning snack they were very hungry! I’d decided against a picnic as after yesterday I thought it would be damp and cold. In fact it was very warm. We went on a bear hunt, looked for beauty and the beast, sat reading books from the secondhand bookshop, successfully managed to visit the house with no drama (2 and 3 year olds struggle with the concept of not touching!) and gathered conkers and kissed pumpkins.
