No Sunshine

A very differently lit photo tonight.   Crocus nudiflorus snapped in a brief garden foray after work on a day that started bright but ended grey and drizzly.   This is a species that should do well in the garden here, I'll be planting these out when the next stage of developing the garden is underway.  

Another work day.  Aber cafe this time, covering for a friend who has been off after damaging her knee.  She's also leaving, having been offered a great opportunity with another local business.   We're all going to miss her.   To mark what should have been her last day, she came to have lunch.  We laid on a surprise platter of food and a gift from the boss arrived on the train while she was there.   All of which meant we were a little late finishing off but it was worth it!   

Jamie's Mum has come to stay with him so Meg and I have some time to ourselves.   I've been troubled by a persistent headache today and feel rather washed out.   A restful day or two will be a good thing methinks - hoping that this will see off whatever is ailing me.
