Doors and floor

Doors are on and rails in except for the fridge, freezer and ovens. Floor base is laid ready for vinyl tiles to be laid. Except we forgot to order the glue which is on a 4 working day delivery…. Frantic phone calls have found some in Truro which we can collect tomorrow after 10. Phew!

A very long day for all of us - the little car is making a funny noise so we got up at 6.45 to take The Boy to work for 8. Then in to the Lizard - found a cafe open at 8.30 for breakfast then off to the stone masons to look at our slab and discuss the template placements. It’s so exciting!!

Work all day then crazy Weds commenced. Princess has to be dropped to work in one direction for 4, then back home to pick up Smallest and take him swimming in the opposite direction for 4.30. Half hour wait then back to drop Smallest and on to pick up Princess at 5.30. Added complication being collecting The Boy from work at 6.30 off in another direction. Only he finished late so we sat in the boat yard for well over an hour, not getting home again until almost 8 for tea!!! Hence the cupboard doors are in darkness…
