Randolph

Apparently we caught the tail end of Hurricane Sam last night.  Quite apart from that giving me an earworm for a T Rex song the rain lashed against the windows and the wind blew noisily all night.  Neither of us slept well through all the noise so we’ve been a bit quiet today.  Other than walking up to the paper shop we’ve not been out so here is a shot of Randolph looking a bit cabin-feverish.

I connected up the speakers that sat outside in the rain for three hours yesterday and they are none the worse for wear.  I can now play music in a different room as I have attached them via an amplifier to an old DVD player for playing CD’s and my new turntable which, although Bluetooth, sounds better through decent speakers.  It was well worth giving feedback to the suppliers about the couriers; I got a small refund for my trouble.
