Flying south?

On my bike ride this morning, I missed most of the airborne geese, but managed to catch these stragglers. 
I don't know if these were actually migrating for winter, but there's certainly a lot of them flying at the moment. Many geese in this country are non migratory, as they've discovered duck down duvets.
