Nesting behaviour

It must be spring! While there are more birds on the park ponds than there were a couple of months ago, today was different. Some were going nuts, the male coots trying to have sex with females either unwilling or playing hard to get, and fighting off opponents. Others were swimming around with their hatchlings, and the rest were trying to get on with their nest building. Like this duck.
