It's impossible to post anything which heralds the start of autumn, but there's certainly a great deal of spring around at the moment.
As a change from exotics, which is all there is in my garden, I checked out the growth in the bush.
It's pretty spectacular, especially after the fires.
I was disappointed to see that the waratahs, which were just about to do their thing a couple of weeks ago, were no longer around.
I can only imagine they've been snapped off by people thinking they'd look good in a vase.

A beautiful day, so spent a lot of time in the garden.
