Monastery

Today we woke to heavy rain and a thunderstorm. I fo have a great photo of the lightning but don't seem to be able to upload it.
Given the weather we drove to Naples, to the Vimero District. We walked up to the roof of Castle Elmo for views across the city (it had stopped raining then), then went round the monastery to San Marino next door. This picture is one of the Abbots private rooms. No lack of comfort! The art work was amazing and the cloisters gorgeous but I have only my phone pictures at the moment.
In the evening we walked around Sorrento and ate ravioli in the main square.
