Why did the hedgehog cross the road?

That was the title of a very entertaining zoom talk on hedgehogs presented by Cumbria Wildlife Trust.  What a privilege to sit in your own armchair and be educated about the world around us without having to go out on this wet and bleak evening.
(Why did the hedgehog cross the road? Because the planning laws have allowed urban development and road systems to expand throughout the land; the hedgehog had to cross because there was nowhere else to go.)
