Incredibly boring...

Would most likely describe both the function of the big blue machine on the construction site round the corner, as well as the job of the guy in the extremely bright hi-vis suit. He seems to spend his entire day standing at the gates to the site on traffic duty. There has been a huge amount of rubble removed in recent weeks but I would have thought that the developers could spring to a small hut just inside the gates so he doesn't have to spend all his time out on the pavement in the increasingly unpleasant weather.
