Soup and scones
Inspired by my mam making soup and scones recently, I made some too. Mine were poncier than hers, of course, although the scones weren’t as well risen.
The soup was based on a curried parsnip and carrot recipe in my soup machine recipe book. I adapted a cheese scone recipe from my British classics recipe book to make naan-bread flavour scones. Not bad!
