Isolation

I have a colonoscopy scheduled for Friday so today I have had to do a Covid test and I have to isolate till Friday so that I’m not taking the virus into the hospital.
I have started on a restricted diet, also till Friday, so one of life’s principal pleasures isn’t going to provide a distraction. However I have a good number of books lined up so that’s me sorted. I’ve read 3 of these so far, just need to decide where to go next.
The bad news today is that Steph has tasted positive for the virus. I spoke to her last night and she sounds bad, but she is adamant that she is already on the mend. It’s very frustrating not to be able to offer any practical help and also frustrating not to be able to see her now we are back from Ireland.
