2473. New painting project

I did a drawing of this image (deliberately blurred to avoid any copyright issues!) for a friend and she loved it so much she asked me to do a much larger painting on canvass for her.

I’ve never done anything this size before so it’s a bit daunting. I’ve used a grid on the image and drawn a pencil grid on the canvass so that I get the perspectives correct.

It’s pretty much mono with the odd bit of red in it so it shouldn’t be too difficult….should it?

I’m going to sketch it first then possibly use oils for it but not sure as I’m more used to acrylics….a work in progress!

Her birthday isn’t until November so I have a bit of time to do it….
