Calm!!

A rather tranquil scene at Fraserburgh beach this morning when we were walking the dogs.
However, “tranquil” did not describe my mood when I phoned up our local surgery for a repeat prescription. I was told that as it was some time since I had had my prescription, I would have to speak to a doctor. I said fine, but was told that I would have to phone at 8.30 a.m. tomorrow to make an appointment.
The thing is, if I need to “speak” to a doctor, why can’t they make an appointment now for tomorrow or whenever!
This was a “repeat” procedure as when I phoned last week for the same prescription, I was told the same thing.
P.S. it’s lashing rain now!!
