The hoard

I was tasked to help an acquaintance living alone. The idea is to move from a large (4 bedroom, 3 reception rooms etc) house, to a much smaller house, and therefore to assist with clearing out superfluous items. The problem is the overwhelming desire never to throw anything out with the inevitable result that the living space becomes rather congested. This is the study on the first floor - the level above ground level. All the other rooms are similarly filled.

The only way to get rid of stuff is to toss it out of the window and later transfer the items in to the skip (dumpster to my transatlantic friends).

It's going to take a while.
