Patterns

I visited some friends who were still in Edinburgh, including amongst them my goddaughter. They had driven up from near Portsmouth or come up from London and had rented a flat in the new Quartermile area behind the Lauriston Place frontage of the former Royal Infirmary.

While the outer buildings of the complex retain most of their original character, the interior section is completely modern using the varied brick colours on the some of the sides of the buildings. From their vantage point the patter on the paving area was similar.

It was great to have time to catch up and chat a bit more before they head off tomorrow.
