David and the Chapel

We had a lovely relaxing quiet day today. I was woken up again by The Musical Lawnmowers - the sheep with bells around their necks and enjoyed an Alfresco breakfast. No rain today like we had yesterday morning, so we got some washing done and hung out to dry.
After a delicious hot dinner of roast free range chicken with rice and vegetables and a salad with homegrown tomatoes and purslane with the lettuce and onions, prepared by Daveen, we needed a siesta. A while later we were woken up for a cup of tea with Portuguese custard tarts, followed by a walk down to the lake. This blip was taken on the way.
Then we came back for the Missionary Prayer Meeting on Zoom and a lighter meal of Mike’s freshly baked homemade bread and cheese and wine.
