Paris-Roubaix - Extreme Cycling.

Today I continued my spectating other people's travails, in the name of sport. Yesterday: London marathon, today: Paris Roubaix. This is a cycle race over 250km and several sections of narrow, muddy, slippery cobbled, roads. In French it's known as L'enfer du Nord - The hell of the North. It really was. The finishers looked like mud sculptures - totally covered in grot and grime. Pictured is the eventual winner, Sonny Colbrelli. Btw, he'd already wiped his face! :-)
