Scottish scones

Went to tea and a natter at my friend Judy’s house; Liz D joined us. J showed us the lovely book her kids organised for her birthday. The scones are from a book of Scottish recipes Liz bought in Glasgow, also for J’s birthday. And good they were!
I read The Blessed Damozel to Josiane and Carl Sandburg’s Chicago to Antony. It’s always a pleasure to speak with them.
