Distracted

After a morning's interesting work, I resisted the temptation to dive into new coding and decided that I should think some more first. I also wanted to stretch my legs after yesterday's exertions. Hence I decided to go for a quick spin on my bike. It was a beautiful crisp, clear afternoon and I was feeling strong so, as usual, I ended up going further than I'd anticipated. Gradually the weather changed, until the sky was "Black as your hat" - as my grandmother would say. I'd expected to get soaked, but then the clouds started to break up. There were a few raindrops and a couple of rainbows, but I couldn't turn them into photos. However, I liked this dramatic sky over the Northern Pentlands, with the green of the sunlit field. 

Almost three hours later, I had a clear idea of what I wanted to do and was back at work!
