Got in mid-morning from the overnighter at work to find The Student had returned from The West for a couple of nights with us, a lovely surprise.

Listened to new vinyl, watched very muddy cycling on and off on an intermittent stream on my phone (far from ideal, actually a bit shit tbh), caught up with the remains of season two of The Leftovers before it disappeared (how very apt) and made pizza for everyone. And just about stayed awake long enough to see the magnificent Mo Salah tuck away summat quite spectacular on MOTD2. No idea what happened after that......zzzzzz
